The Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness debuted on the WWE Network following the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view this past Sunday. The next night following the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, the WWE Network aired the second episode of the series.
The series features a lot of sketch comedy along with general dialogue from the hosts and is quite similar to shows such as Rhett and Link’s Mythical Show. While a show like this is bound to have skeptics due to being only loosely tied to wrestling in some ways, many also seem to love shows such as this.
Personally, I really enjoy the show. The first episode was a test for me, as it could have easily been something I didn’t enjoy, but Edge and Christian’s humor delivered and with enough obscure wrestling comments for a nerd like me to appreciate, it hit all the right spots. Based on what I saw on Twitter, a lot of others enjoyed it as well. With that being said, the show will certainly have critics as well. It has a lot of “toilet” humor and that might not sit well with some. I think I enjoyed the gags more in the first, however the second episode felt more consistently humorous.
