Our Extreme Rules 2016 review will be coming up later tonight right here on WWE Network News, but in the meantime it feels necessary to ask: What was your match of the night?
The event is receiving very mixed reactions thus far. Some people enjoyed the show, praising some of the great matches on the show. Meanwhile others were frustrated with some of the booking decisions. For quick results, be sure to check them out here.
So what did you think? Was the main event what you were hoping for between AJ Styles and Roman Reigns? Did the Women’s Championship match do the trick? Or perhaps the Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Miz Intercontinental Championship match stole the show for you? Maybe you even loved the Asylum match.
Personally for me, as great as the main event was and as thrilling as the ending of the Asylum match was, the Fatal Four Way wins it. Not only is it the match of the night, it is very likely my main roster match of the year. Everything about it was fantastic and the drama and nearfalls were amazing and very memorable.
