Another week means more WWE Network additions are here! Like every week, we had several items added to the video on demand library, while we also had some original content. But was it enough?
It should be noted that there were a few more uploads aside from what you will see below. As always, we had both NXT and Superstars, which were reviewed elsewhere on the site. Then we continued to have WCW Monday Nitro episodes pop up as they look to complete the entire series. But what else was added? And how was it? Let’s take a look:
RAW Pre-Show

Once again we had the RAW Pre-Show featuring Scott Stanford, Booker T, and Corey Graves. While David Otunga is missed, the trio works together and they’re forming some decent charm even though Booker T doesn’t fully mesh with Corey. Obviously, they talked about last week’s RAW.
The interesting things for me this week included the draft continuing to be talked about. As a major draft supporter, any mention of it gets me giddy. Then in a really interesting turn of events, they discussed the Cruiserweight Classic for a bit which felt very surreal and exciting. Good show this week.
Unfiltered with Renee Young

Unfiltered with Renee Young’s format continues to be a success, I feel. While some aren’t enamored with the longer presentation, it now feels like the interviews of old mixed in with a little more to make it feel like more of a show and less of a Youtube video. No disrespect to Youtubers, of course.
This week’s guest is Cesaro, and it was by far my favorite interview of the new season thus far. Of course, as someone who isn’t a major fan of Roman Reigns nor Charlotte, that sort of happens by default. Still, this was an entertaining interview and Cesaro is a fun guy to listen to. Watch this.
This Week in WWE

This Week in WWE doesn’t change much, so you should likely know what to expect here. This time, TWIWWE is all about WWE Money in the Bank and how RAW followed up on it. Naturally, this means Dean Ambrose gets a ton of focus. Besides the WWE title picture, we also had focus on John Cena and AJ Styles. This is a good show for those who can’t or don’t watch the main program, but if you do, you can skip this.
Main Event

Main Event 193 aired on June 7th of this year. This show had a few fairly big names, which is always nice. The big flaw, though, with this show, was the commentary. I’ve said it in a Superstars review or two, but Dolph Ziggler is horrendous on commentary. It feels like he’s making a mockery of everything he watches and it is incredibly frustrating. Beyond that, the show was a good one.
Match List
Sheamus vs. Zack Ryder
Viktor vs. Titus O’Neil
Rusev (with Lana) vs. Sin Cara
Smackdown

This episode of Smackdown was the 875th episode of the series. It would air on May 26th of this year. This had two main hooks. The first was Seth Rollins, who recently returned to the WWE at the Extreme Rules event, returned to the blue brand on this night. Next, we had an Intercontinental Championship main event between The Miz and Cesaro. It was a good episode of Smackdown, so if you haven’t seen it already, check it out.
Match List
Zack Ryder vs. Alberto Del Rio
United States Championship: Kalisto vs. Rusev (with Lana)
Dana Brooke (with Charlotte) vs. Natalya
The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) vs. Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango)
Intercontinental Championship: The Miz (with Maryse) vs. Cesaro
Closing Thoughts
Well, I won’t pretend the week was amazing. Whenever we don’t have fresh material after RAW, it really sets the week out on a bad pace. Still, with what we see above and Monday Nitro episodes, it is difficult to complain too much.
Looking ahead, we know of several collections coming to the WWE Network. Add in WCW Monday Nitro being completed and something new started shortly, and there is plenty to be excited about.
