Another week means more WWE Network additions are here! Like every week, we had several items added to the video on demand library, while we also had some original content. But was it enough?
It should be noted that there were a few more uploads aside from what you will see below. As always, we had both NXT and Superstars, which were reviewed elsewhere on the site. Additionally, we reviewed the Cruiserweight Classic special titled “Bracketology“. Then we saw July’s content drop begin with a 2006 episode of RAW pop up on the WWE Network. But what else was added? And how was it? Let’s take a look:
RAW Pre-Show
The RAW Pre-Show was back this week as always. And as always, we had Scott Stanford, Booker T, and Corey Graves as the panel. They discussed the latest happenings, including a decent amount of insight on Brock Lesnar and his UFC 200 win. With that, they discussed Randy Orton’s chances for the event, and didn’t give him much of a chance at that.
We still have no word on whether the Smackdown Pre-Show is coming. But with all of the draft discussion happening week in and week out on the RAW Pre-Show, surely it makes sense? Hopefully we get some insight into that next week.
Unfiltered with Renee Young
The Unfiltered with Renee Young mid-season finale aired this past week. The episode was nearly twenty minutes long, meaning it nearly reached a normal program’s length. And the guest was Renee Young’s boyfriend and current WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose. Needless to say, he made things very entertaining.
They discussed a number of topics, which mostly center around Ambrose being a bit weird. And that makes for a very fun episode. Their chemistry together is very clear as well, which makes it even better. Beyond that, we had more Summer Rae and R-Truth antics which were fun as always.
This Week in WWE
This edition of TWIWWE was run of the mill. This Week in WWE just doesn’t change much week in and week out, nor should it. It covers the Shield’s feud leading into Battleground, with Roman Reigns out via suspension along with covering the Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar match that was announced. As always, the show makes for a nice catch up for those who miss RAW.
Main Event
Main Event 195 aired on June 21st of this year. It featured three matches, with a lot of NXT influence. It is quite cool to see how many NXT talents are on the main roster now, with everybody on this show either coming from NXT or spending a lot of time there. As always, the show is on a delay so it may be too past-dated for some. Oh, and it has Dolph Ziggler commentary. So that’s unfortunate.

RAW
RAW 1202 has been added to the WWE Network. It aired on June 6th of this year on the road to Money in the Bank. With Money in the Bank being less than two weeks away, as you can tell by the picture, the MITB Ladder match competitors were ready for the event. Beyond that, the show had a fun main event along with a really good Ambrose and Owens match. So if you haven’t seen it already, I suggest checking it out.

Smackdown
This episode of Smackdown was the 877th episode of the series. It aired on June 9th of this year. It was a little over a week before Money in the Bank 2016, which means the attention was on the big show. In particular, the focus was on the AJ Styles and John Cena feud along with the Money in the Bank Ladder match. Watch this if you haven’t already, but it isn’t extremely necessary.

Closing Thoughts
This week was solid, but unfortunately, it seems to be drying up. Aside from the RAW uploads that will hopefully be coming in, the only piece of new content appears to be the Cruiserweight Classic starting up, aside from the usuals of NXT, the RAW Pre-Show, and Superstars. No Unfiltered, Legends with JBL, or other specials are currently scheduled. Hopefully, that won’t last.
