In news that could be potentially good for a lot of people, John Layfield, JBL, recently revealed his WWE Network original series is scheduled to return in August. Legends with JBL has numerous shows in the can with episodes featuring the likes of Booker T, Jimmy Hart, the Outsiders, Bruno Sammartino and several others waiting to be aired. Many were wondering when we would finally start to see these episodes show up.
Of course, we do need to take this with a grain of salt. JBL had recently stated that the show would be back on the air at the end of May, and that never came to be. Until the WWE Network or WWE themselves promote it, we can’t confirm with all certainty that it will end up being aired.
For those unaware, Legends with JBL takes a shoot interview and mixes it with 60 Minutes. JBL, in arguably the best hosting job of any interview on the Network, goes for some serious and controversial stories but the show is ultimately informative and to many, quite fun. Past guests have included Eric Bischoff, Road Dogg, Michael Hayes, and Ron Simmons.
