Classic content is one of the biggest talking points on WWE Network News, and it isn’t an accident. While many different sources say many different things about how much classic content is viewed, one thing our readers constantly and consistently care about is what classic content is being added next. And a lot of spirited debates are had over what should come, why this will or will not come, and the value of each drop.
However like with anything else, classic content interests some while it doesn’t interest others. Some people only care about the latest special events. Some people prefer original programming to old school programming. Some people downright don’t enjoy or care about old school wrestling. Conversely, some people don’t care about modern WWE. They aren’t interested in the new special events or original shows. They want to relive their childhood, or in some cases, experience great wrestling from the past for the first time.
Of course, the variety of old school content means somebody will always prefer something else being available. For every person who loves NWA is someone who wants more 70s WWWF. For everyone who loves some of the World Class is someone who wishes we had Stampede Wrestling back. Not to mention libraries the WWE not yet owns, or libraries that sadly do not exist.
