The WWE is advertising the recent NWA World Championship Wrestling and WCW Championship Wrestling content additions as a Sting-centered content drop. The official billing is “World Championship Wrestling – Sting: The Icon Emerges” according to an email they sent to WWE Network subscribers.

Additionally, the WWE Network revealed that a total of 120+ hours of NWA content, labeled as WCW, has been added to the service in the past month. Needless to say, that much content is a treat for fans of old school wrestling or for those looking to experience it for the first time. The service generally focuses each time period drop on one Superstar when advertising, including the most recent RAW drop featuring Edge as the poster boy.

Below is WWE Network’s official synopsis for World Championship Wrestling – Sting: The Icon Emergences:

“Witness WWE Hall of Famer Sting rise to superstardom as he battles Ric Flair and The Four Horsemen. Plus Dusty Rhodes moonlights as The Midnight Rider, a young Eddie Guerrero debuts, and all of your favorite stars of the 1980s are in action.”
