WWE Talking Smack airs after Smackdown Live each week, along with after Smackdown exclusive PPVs (or at least it did once). It features Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan and Renee Young as they go over the events of Smackdown along with interviewing at least two guests.
A big hit, Talking Smack features a lot of unscripted character development, which leads to a lot of fun. Most notably, it led to The Miz being one of the most interesting characters of the year. Some people do well in the environment, some need work, but that is part of the appeal.
With that being said, some people do see the show as “just a post-show”. They don’t feel a need to watch, especially if they are already not interested in WWE’s programming.
