After a long delay, Smackdown from 2005 is finally complete on the WWE Network! This includes the Tuesday Smackdown special, although it isn’t numbered due to being considered a “special episode”. The last episode to be added, Smackdown 328, took longer than anticipated to pop up. However the episode was available to be searched for but a media error would occur if one tried to play it.
Regardless, it is now available and that means the entire year of 2005 is complete alongside 2004, finishing the classic content drop for October. Additionally, this means only three more drops are likely needed for Smackdown to be completed altogether. 2006 and 2007, 2008 and 2009, and then lastly 2010 and 2011. Along with RAW only needing one drop (2010 and 2011), it seems likely both will be completed by summer.
And as usual when the classic content drop is completed, the WWE Network updates the classic content collection. This month is no different. The collection has filtered out the RAW episodes from 2008 and 2009 and replaced them with Smackdown episodes from 2004 and 2005 for fans wanting to “dip their feet in” to the content but are unsure as to where to start.
