We noted yesterday that the RAW Pre-Show wasn’t cancelled, it was just replaced with a ten minute version featuring no set and just Booker T and Charly Caruso. While many feel it didn’t go well, many didn’t get to see it as it didn’t air on the WWE Network. So what’s the story with the Smackdown Live Pre-Show?
The story is pretty similar. The ten minute show aired on Youtube and not the WWE Network, featuring Booker T with Renee Young along with the Vaudevillains puppets. The RAW Pre-Show was never added to the service, so it seems likely this won’t be either. Whether or not we see a pre-show in any form for either RAW or Smackdown Live on the service in the future is anybody’s guess, but for now, it seems like they won’t be coming.
