We’ve noted before that the classic content drop for the month of December was WWE Smackdown from the years 2006 and 2007. The WWE Network is finally promoting this drop, and sent an email to subscribers recently noting it, although they haven’t updated their regular WWE.com page with the information for this drop, nor the prior month’s drop.
“The King Takes His Throne” is the tagline for the WWE Smackdown drop and it features Booker T prominently, along with Randy Orton and Edge. The WWE is promoting over 150 hours of content added with this drop along with the historic 400th episode of the series. For those unaware, only two more drops are necessary for Smackdown to be completed altogether on the service: 2008 and 2009 in one drop, then 2010 and 2011 in the other.
