Every Thursday or Friday night the WWE Network updates its schedule advertising new content set to air on the live stream in the coming week. It should be noted that like anything, schedules are tentative and air times, air dates, and programs are always subject to change. Additionally, this reflects only what is set to air on the Network stream and does not include content added directly to the video-on-demand service.
The WWE Network additions below do not reflect everything we’ll see on the WWE Network. As always, we’ll have a RAW, Smackdown, and Main Event episode added from last month. We may even see the next classic content drop begin, or even some collections appear. But what else is coming throughout the week? Let’s take a look:
Tuesday – February 14th
Legends With JBL (3PM EST)
“JBL and the legendary Jimmy Hart discuss his Hall of Fame career, the controversy surrounding Hulk Hogan, and working with Andy Kaufman.“
WWE 205 Live (10 PM EST)
“The greatest performers from WWE’s Cruiserweight division showcase their unparalleled abilities on 205 Live!”
WWE Talking Smack (10:45 PM EST)
“Renee Young catches up with your favorite SmackDown LIVE Superstars after the show to hear their thoughts on all of the evening’s action.”
Wednesday – February 15th
WWE NXT (8 PM EST)
“Tyler Bate defends the WWE United Kingdom Championship against Trent Seven in the main event of NXT!”
Saturday – February 18th
This Week In WWE (3PM EST)
“Get caught up on all the highlights from Raw and SmackDown LIVE with This Week in WWE.“
Closing Thoughts
Yet again, the big spotlight content this week is another episode of Legends with JBL, this time with Jimmy Hart as a guest. Of course, we now know that this is the final episode and the series is coming to an end. Personally, this saddens me greatly. The show hasn’t had a single dud since the Eric Bischoff two-parter that started it all. Unfortunately, we have no real idea how well the show has done over time, so it could just not be as popular as we think.
On the plus side, NXT will be host to the first ever defence of the United Kingdom Championship. I’m a big fan of Tyler Bate and Trent Seven, and it’s always good to see a marquee match on a weekly NXT show. I expect big things.
