For those unaware, WWE released a new teaser for Southpaw Regional Wrestling very quietly on Twitter yesterday. You can see that clip here:

On the surface, this seems like a straightforward case of a new WWE Network series set to hit the service tomorrow. PWInsider have even gone so far as to confirm this fact. Seems like an open and shut case, right? Well, not quite.
PWI are reporting that the show is set to premiere on WWE Network’s livestream tomorrow. However, as it stands there is zero mention of the show on tomorrow’s schedule. Neither is WWE.com promoting it as new on-demand content for the week. Of course, things can change at the last second, but it does seem bizarre that WWE would release a random teaser of a show set to air on a paid service in just a matter of hours, yet not advertise it there. WWE Network isn’t even mentioned in the above clip. In fact, this was advertised on the main WWE Twitter account, not WWE Network’s. As one final note, our source hasn’t been able to find the show within the system yet either.
So, what does this mean? Either WWE is keeping this new show very low-key for some odd reason or it’s actually set to appear on Youtube. There is a precedent for irreverent comedy on WWE’s Youtube channel, with The JBL and Cole Show being a prime example. It could easily fit on there as a 10-minute weekly video.
So, yes, Southpaw Regional Wrestling COULD surface on WWE Network tomorrow, but there’s currently no hard evidence for it.
