WWE’s latest big event aired today when the NXT brand presented their latest show WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024. The event featured multiple championship matches, including Ilja Dragunov defending the NXT Championship and Oba Femi defending his coveted prize. Hype going into the event seemed quite high, with a lot of intrigue surrounding WWE as of late and further intrigue thanks to NXT being on the road. But who won the matches? - Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic: The Wolfdogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin) defeated Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes in the finals.
- No Disqualification Match: Dijak defeated Joe Gacy by pinfall. The match included duct tape, a table, kendo sticks, and children’s toys.
- The Family (Tony D’Angelo, Adrianna Rizzo, and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo” defeated OTM (Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Jaida Parker) by pinfall. SCRYPTS was ringside with OTM.
- NXT Women’s Championship: Lyra Valkyria defeated Lola Vice and Roxanne Perez by pinfall. This match turned into a Triple Threat Match when Lola Vice cashed in her Women’s Breakout Tournament title opportunity mid-way through.
- North American Championship: Oba Femi defeated Dragon Lee by pinfall.
- NXT Championship: Ilja Dragunov defeated Trick Williams by pinfall. Carmelo Hayes turned on Trick and brutalized his leg in brutal fashion with a steel chair post-match.
Additionally, Lexis King, Ava, Riley Osborne, SCRYPTS, Izzi Dame, Kianna James, Thea Hail, Jacy Jayne, Kelly Kincaid, Tatum Paxley, Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett, Matt Camp, Sam Roberts, and Megan Morant also appeared on the program. Booker T missed the show so Wade Barrett filled in on commentary.
