WWE’s latest big event aired today when the Raw and SmackDown brands presented their latest show WWE Bad Blood 2024. The event featured high-stakes matchups with the biggest feuds of the year, including CM Punk going against Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match after feuding for the majority of this year, Damien Priest facing his old-stablemate Finn Bálor, Liv Morgan defending her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns turning from good friends to a (hopefully) better team against The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, and much more. Hype going into the event seemed quite high, with a lot of intrigue surrounding WWE as of late and a huge crowd at the Wells Fargo Arena. But who won the matches? Let’s move onto the results!
WWE Bad Blood 2024 Results
Below are the Countdown to WWE Bad Blood 2024 notes and results for 10/05/24:
- The Countdown To show reverted back to one hour after the last couple of Countdown shows having a two-hour runtime or even a three-hour show at SummerSlam.
- CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, The Bloodline, Damian Priest/Rhea Ripley, Judgement Day, Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill + Naomi, Bayleey, WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, were shown to enter the arena.
- Megan Morant and Sam Roberts host the Bad Blood Countdown show from WWE HQ.
- Peter Rosenberg interviewed fans from outside of the arena.
- Cathy Kelley and Jackie Redmond gave their updates on CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre backstage.
- Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard were announced to be in attendance for Bad Blood.
- Jackie Redmond gave a sit-down interview with Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, where Morgan discusses her relationship with Rhea Ripley.
- Cathy Kelley did a sit-down interview with WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax about her career and feud with Bayley.
- A top 5 countdown of Hell in a Cell moments aired.
- Pete Rosenberg, Cathy Kelly and Big E discussed the story around the tag team match.

- Hell in a Cell: CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall.
- WWE Women’s Championship: Nia Jax (c) defeated Bayley by pinfall to retain.
- Damian Priest defeated Judgement Day’s/World Tag Team Champion Finn Bálor by pinfall.
- Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley defeated Judgement Day’s Liv Morgan (c) by DQ due to Raquel Rodriguez returning to attack Rhea during her attack on a defenseless Dominik Mysterio. Despite the loss, Liv retains due to the champion’s advantage.
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns defeated The Bloodline’s Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa.

- This PLE aired at a special start time of 6 PM EST/11 PM GMT to prevent counter-programming with UFC 307, which is produced by the same parent company as WWE.
- This PLE was broadcast on Netflix in Brazil and New Zealand.
- Samantha Irvin sang God Bless America to start the PLE off.
- Michael Cole announced that WWE COO Triple H has an announcement tonight.
- WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhods and Metro Boomin’ were shown to enter the arena.
- Hosts Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi announced the start of the PLE.
- Goldberg, Killer Mike, Jacqueline, Lilian Garcia, Booker T, X-Pac,Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, Quavo, Lil Baby, DDP, Mickie James, Scott Steiner were shown in the crowd.
- CM Punk collapsed after celebrating his victory at the HIAC match, but left on his two feet after some assistance from officials and doctors.
- Cathy Kelley interviewed the hosts in the VIP booth on two different occasions, with Metro Boomin getting interviewed on the second occasion while Chelsea Green got sent away.
- Tiffany Stratton teased a cash-in during the WWE Women’s Championship match, but ultimately rescinded her cash-in.
- Xavier Woods was shown testing Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero, as that match sponsored Damian Priest vs Finn Balor.
- Finn Bálor entered with a bag-like mask over his head and face paint under his left eye.
- Carlito and JD McDonagh made multiple interference attempts to help their stablemate Finn Balor defeat Priest, but ultimately failed that attempt.
- Triple H announced that the men’s and women’s world champions of both brands will face each other at Crown Jewel where each winner will win the WWE Crown Jewel Championship. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther came after the announcement and called out Goldberg after talking about his World Title defense on Raw against Sami Zayn, which led to Goldberg jumping the guardrail and being stopped by officials and security, leaving Sami Zayn an opening to attack the champion before officials separated those two.
- Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan entered on a lowrider. Liv Morgan also debuted new graphics during her entrance.
- Dan Engler has a referee cam on his ear for the Women’s World Title match.
- Dominik Mysterio was suspended in a shark cage for the Women’s World Title match. During the end of the match, Dom picked the lock and fell out of the cage, but had a harness on to not fall off.
- The University of Arkansas Pine Bluff performed Cody’s theme before and during his entrance on the main event.
- WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa interfered in the main event on multiple occasions, but at the end of the match, a returning Jimmy Uso attacked the champions to help Roman win the match.
- Solo’s rendition of the Bloodline attacked Cody after the match, with Jimmy and Roman saving the champion after some hesitation. After the save, The Rock returned to stare Cody, Jimmy and Roman down from the ramp before the main show went to black.
