WWE’s latest big event aired today when the NXT brand presented their latest show WWE Deadline 2024. Known for its signature Iron Survivor Challenge match for both the men and women, this event is crucial to deciding the first championship contenders going into the next year. Plus other matches such as NXT Underground returning for Lola Vice vs Jaida Parker and Axiom/Nathan Frazer pulling double duty and defending their NXT Tag Team Championship next to participating in the Men’s Iron Survivor matches. Plus, this is the very last WWE Network special, which is poetic in itself, seeing as NXT had the honor of having its first and last live special on the service. But who won the matches? NXT Deadline 2024 Results
Below are the Countdown to NXT Deadline 2024 notes and results for 12/07/24:
- NXT General Manager Ava announced that due to the attack on Eddy Thorpe, he will be replaced in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
- Megan Morant and Sam Roberts hosted the Countdown show from WWE Headquarters.
- Sarah Screiber interviewed Wes Lee about Eddy’s forced withdrawal and didn’t deny that he attacked Thorpe.
- Stephanie Vaquer, Ethan Page, Ridge Holland, Jaida Parker, Lola Vice and NXT Champion Trick Williams were seen entering the arena.
- NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom and Nathan Frazer got interviewed about Nathan’s double duty.
- Jaida Parker interrupted the Countdown panel to share her feelings before she went into NXT Underground.
- Blake Howard did a sit-down interview with Ridge Holland and talked about his teardown of Chase U and the road to his NXT Championship match.
- Sol Ruca got interviewed about the Iron Survivor Challenge until Ethan Page interrupted her to talk about Eddy leaving a spot open. After Sol threatened Page to attack him next time, he implied that she might’ve attacked Eddy.
- Sarah Screiber announced that the fifth competitor of the Iron Survivor Challenge has been decided and that it will kick the PLE off.

- NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge: Oba Femi (3) defeated Wes Lee (1), Je’Von Evans (2), Ethan Page (2) and NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer (1) to become the new #1 contender.
- NXT Underground: Lola Vice defeated Jaida Parker by referee stoppage.
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Axiom and Nathan Frazer (c) defeated NQCC’s Myles Borne and Tavion Heights by pinfall to retain.
- NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) defeated Ridge Holland by pinfall to retain.
- NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Iron Survivor Challenge: Giulia (2) defeated Stephanie Vaquer (1), Wren Sinclair (1), Sol Ruca (1) and Zaria (1) to become the new #1 contender.

- OTM came ringside during the Tag Title match, but quickly got escorted back by referees.
- Je’Von Evans got interviewed about his loss before getting interrupted by Wes Lee to lecture him to not take the loss too lightly. After Evans ignored him, Lee punched him to clarify his point.

- Ethan Page was interviewed about his loss and showed doubt in his own abilities
