WWE Main Event is WWE main roster’s only lower-level show. This show features the lower card of the Raw roster with NXT talent popping in and out regularly. Although originally meant to air in international territories only, most of those deals are up for expiry at the end of this year, plus WWE restarted first-run uploads of Main Event on Peacock and WWE Network in mid-December after Hulu’s deal with WWE expired in the autumn of 2024, hence why we cover this show. Our results are quick and to the point and by no means a comprehensive blow-by-blow account of the given episode, nor recapping the happenings of Raw and SmackDown that aired on this episode. Below are the latest WWE Main Event results for 12/12/24:
- Alpha Academy’s Otis defeated Pete Dunne by pinfall thanks to a distraction by Otis’ stable and the WWE fans.
- Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser defeated LWO’s/WWE Speed Men’s Champion Dragon Lee by pinfall.
Non-match notes relevant to WWE Main Event for 12/12/24:
- This is the first episode of WWE Main Event airing on WWE Network and Peacock first-run since January 13th 2015 (overall first first-run episode for Peacock). We will only cover results and other happenings regarding Main Event itself alongside exclusive announcements.
- Most of the stage/ring/barricade graphics used WWE dark match graphics (just the WWE logo at multiple points around the screen) during the matches instead of Main Event graphics.
- Ludwig Kaiser threatened to forfeit his match before it started, but Dragon Lee dove towards him and threw him back into the ring to start the match.
