WWE’s Premium Live Events mostly have more broadcasts than just the PLE to signify the importance of the event, ranging from panel talks and press conferences before and/or after the show, to extra matches or special social media broadcasts of classic matches.
In this article, we will list what festivities the Royal Rumble 2025 PLE will have in store on Netflix, Peacock, and beyond!.
WWE’s Royal Rumble is one of WWE’s biggest PLE’s with a very rich history featuring its titular match. From 1988 onwards, the event started the WrestleMania season to create optimal hype for the Greatest Show of them All, so it makes sense for festivities to ensue.
Starting things off is the 24/7 Royal Rumble marathon on YouTube. Here’s where probably all of the previous Royal Rumble matches get aired in random order, so you can pop the channel on and watch a random match you might not have seen before. On that same note, keep an eye out on WWE and WWE Vault’s YouTube pages for more vintage matches coming available.
Right before the go-home SmackDown episode, WWE will do a Royal Rumble Kickoff presentation where the matches for the PLE get previewed on social media and Peacock with face-offs and announcements closer towards the PLE itself.
Two hours before the main show goes live, WWE airs their Countdown to Royal Rumble pre-show to keep you in the know of any happenings in and around the event. Most of the show will be filled with a pre-show panel, interviews (especially one with CM Punk) and other segments to keep the hype going, although there mostly aren’t any matches happening at those pre-shows anymore. US viewers will be able to watch Countdown to Royal Rumble on Peacock while all viewers can watch that on YouTube. Territories still served by the WWE Network will have the preshow as part of the separate PLE stream as the 24/7 channel no longer premieres newer shows.
After the PLE, WWE will hold a post-show press conference featuring the winners of the PLE and WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. A panel will recap the happenings of the event as well to keeping the non-PLE watchers in the know, and to give a refresher to who watched.

- WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Post-Show (right after the PLE on Peacock and YouTube)
