WWE SmackDown is one of WWE’s premier weekly shows featuring some of the best WWE Superstars, plus some of the biggest storylines going into the PLE’s and has been running since 1999. The Championships featured the Undisputed WWE Championship, WWE (Men’s) United States, WWE Tag Team, WWE Women’s and the WWE Women’s United States Championships, plus the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from time to time. Although this show originally airs on traditional television (and still does in some markets), live airings moved to Netflix for the majority of the world, hence why we started to cover Raw, SmackDown and NXT from January onwards. Our results are quick and to the point and by no means a comprehensive blow-by-blow account of the given episode. Below are the latest WWE SmackDown results for 03/28/25:
- WWE Tag Team Championship: Street Profits (c) defeated Pretty Deadly by pinfall after a doomsday blockbuster to retain.
- The Secret Hervice defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter by pinfall after a Piper Driver.
- WWE United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs Braun Strowman fought to a no contest thanks to an attack from Jacob Fatu.
- Charlotte Flair defeated Michin by submission with a Figure-8.
- Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton by pinfall after a Claymore and a distraction from KO.
- Jimmy Uso defeated The Miz by pinfall after a Uso Splash.
Non-match notes relevant to WWE SmackDown for 03/28/25:
- Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes kicked off the show to talk about facing Cena in a few days on Raw, however, Randy Orton interrupted him to hype him up about how far he’s gone but challenged him for a future title match. Drew McIntyre came in and wanted in at the shot as well. After talking about Orton a bit, Rhodes attacked him before he got a chance to talk, but walked away before he could receive an RKO.
- Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin will be inducted in the Hall of Fame.
- Green and her friends attacked Katana and Kayden until Zelina made the save, but the save got reversed due to the numbers gain.
- Following Monday’s Raw episode, Jimmy Uso faced a backstage interview to address his altercation with Gunther. The Miz and Carmelo Hayes crashed the interview, launching into a verbal attack. The confrontation culminated in a match later that same night.
- Solo scolded Jacob for interfering in the US Title match, but Jacob fired back.
- Naomi attacked Michin and B-Fab before Michin’s match with Charlotte until Jade made the save. Michin still continued on with the match despite this.
- Rey Fenix announced he’ll make his debut.
- Damian Priest brawled with Drew McIntyre in the parking lot, ending with a chokeslam on top of a car.
- SmackDown ended with a contract signing for the WrestleMania 41 triple threat between Roman Reigns vs CM Punk vs Seth Rollins. Following a Reigns-led crowd singalong, Rollins entered, declaring their shared “mission” accomplished. Reigns rejected this, accusing Rollins of cleaning up his mess by allowing Punk into the main event picture. Punk’s subsequent arrival revealed a contractual detail: the triple threat match would headline one of WrestleMania 41’s nights. Rollins erupted, protesting Punk’s undeserved main event spot. The show ended with Reigns demanding Punk’s acknowledgement for securing him the main event, to which Punk responded with gratitude but noted that it wasn’t the favor Paul Heyman owed him.

- B-Fab vs Naomi.
- Last Man Standing: Braun Strowman vs Jacob Fatu.
