WWE SmackDown is one of WWE’s premier weekly shows featuring some of the best WWE Superstars, plus some of the biggest storylines going into the PLE’s and has been running since 1999. The Championships featured the Undisputed WWE Championship, WWE (Men’s) United States, WWE Tag Team, WWE Women’s and the WWE Women’s United States Championships, plus the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from time to time. Although this show originally airs on traditional television (and still does in some markets), live airings moved to Netflix for the majority of the world, hence why we started to cover Raw, SmackDown and NXT from January onwards. Our results are quick and to the point and by no means a comprehensive blow-by-blow account of the given episode. Below are the latest WWE SmackDown results for 04/11/25:
- Bayley & Lyra Valkyria win a women’s tag team gauntlet to become #1 contenders for the women’s tag titles, defeating B-Fab & Michin, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, Natalya & Maxxine Dupri, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark, and Piper Niven & Alba Fyre.
- Rey Fenix defeats Berto with the Mexican Muscle Buster.
- Zelina Vega beats women’s US champion Chelsea Green by count-out.
- Tiffany Stratton defeats Roxanne Perez with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever; Charlotte Flair attacks after the bell.
- Randy Orton & LA Knight beat Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga; Jacob Fatu lays out LA Knight post-match.
Non-match notes relevant to WWE SmackDown for 04/11/25:
- Randy Orton and Nick Aldis open the show addressing the RKO from last week, Orton’s WrestleMania status, etc, before being interrupted by Solo & Tama. Randy still does not have an announced WrestleMania 41 match yet.
- Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton were said to be facing disciplinary action due the comments in last week’s promo and also due to a surprise attack by Charlotte earlier in the day, however both showed up regardless.
- Drew McIntyre ambushed Damian Priest on his entrance, ahead of their planned face to face. McIntyre speaks…only for the fight to be on again. McIntyre would get the upper hand, hitting a Future Shock DDT on the steel steps.
- A cool video on CM Punk and Paul Heyman’s past history/story was shown. Later, one recapping the CM Punk/Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins feud so far was aired.
- Cody Rhodes had an in-ring promo on the show to further his feud with John Cena (you can’t see Cena tonight) ahead of WrestleMania 41. In this segment several iconic WWE Championship belt designs were showcased.
- The commentary team ran down the WrestleMania 41 match card currently planned for both the Saturday and the Sunday.
- SmackDown ended with Jacob Fatu hitting multiple moonsaults on LA Knight. I don’t think we saw Orton again to offer any help!
