WWE Raw is the company’s true flagship weekly programme that has persevered uninterrupted on television for an astronomical 32 years. But now, it is taking perhaps the boldest step in its entire storied history. From January 6th, 2025, Raw will become the exclusive global live property of Netflix for the foreseeable future. Because of this game-changing shift in WWE’s presentation, we here at WWE Netflix News are now able to cover the “A show” as a streaming first-run programme. Just as we did for every live event that the fading WWE Network offered for a decade and onwards on Netflix. We look forward to bringing you the results and major happenings of Raw at a time when its importance and potential for surprises has never been higher.

Below are the latest WWE Raw results for 05/05/25:
- Penta defeated Judgement Day´s JD McDonagh by pinfall after a Penta Driver.
- Sheamus defeated Austin Theory by pinfall after a Brogue Kick
- Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky defeated NXT’s Roxanne Perez by pinfall with a rollup counter.
- Rusev defeated Otis by submission with The Accolade.
- World Heavyweight Championship: Jey Uso (c) vs Seth Rollins fought to a no-contest due to Bron Breakker, Sami Zayn and CM Punk interfering. Punk attacked Rollins while Zayn checked on Jey to end the show.
Other notes relevant to WrestleMania Raw for 05/05/25:
- Maxxine Dupri vs Zoey Stark and Ludwig Kaiser vs Tyler Bate got taped for Main Event while Dragon Lee vs El Grande Americano for the Speed Championship got taped for Speed before the show went live.
- World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso kicked off Raw by calling out Logan Paul but instead faced Paul Heyman, who challenged Jey’s ability to control his newfound power as champion, leading to Jey officially accepting a title match against Seth Rollins for that night.
- JD members Carlito and Finn interfered during JD vs Penta and got caught, leadling to them getting banned from ringside. Chad Gable attempted to help as well, but his efforts weren’t fruitful either.
- Grayson Waller gave his singles match to Austin Theory.
- Dominik Mysterio vs Penta for the IC Title got announced for Backlash.
- AJ Styles told Dominik he’ll go for the IC Title after Backlash. The champ asked if Balor wants to face Styles, which he will.
- The New Day expressed their support for Chad Gable backstage, while also advocating for American Made to receive more opportunities, before being interrupted by Becky Lynch.
- Becky Lynch and WWE Women’s IC Champion Lyra Valkyria engaged in a war of words, with Lynch claiming she was unfairly vilified and Valkyria accusing her of recycling her act and taking credit for others’ success, culminating in a physical brawl where Valkyria gained the upper hand.
- GM Pearce brought Pat McAfee and Gunther to the ring, urging professionalism ahead of their match on Saturday; Gunther vowed not to attack McAfee that night, while McAfee criticized Gunther’s jaded attitude and promised to expose his softness, leading to Gunther declaring he would dominate McAfee in their upcoming match.
- Logan Paul attacked Jey after the show and ran off.
