WWE announced a slate of special events (including Premium Live Events) for July in one weekend.
During last night’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE announced the next SNME event for July 12th in the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, a date that NBC already confirmed months ago, but without a location until then. However, this wasn’t the only event announced.
In the same promo video, NXT The Great American Bash and WWE Evolution have been announced as well. WWE Evolution will happen on Sunday, July 13th at 7 PM EST/12 AM GMT while nothing in terms of time, day or even broadcast details in itself have been announced for The Great American Bash as of this writing.
WWE Evolution is a very requested PLE for a part of the WWE fanbase as it’s a women’s exclusive PLE, first (and until now, only) held in 2018 with all women’s titles on the line and other women’s matches as in a battle royal and more. NXT The Great American Bash has been one of NXT’s signature summer events since 2020, swapping event types from TV special to PLE and back on a yearly basis. As of this writing, it’s only confirmed that NXT Great American Bash will be part of the Atlanta slate of events, but it’s not fully known what shape it will take as it’s possible for the event to be a NXT TV special episode instead of a Premium Live Event.
Expect both events to air on Peacock in the US and Netflix in the majority of the world, unless announced differently. SNME airs on NBC and Peacock in the United States and on YouTube outside of the US.
