NXT’s latest big event aired today when they presented their latest show, WWE Battleground 2025. This event finishes a weekend of action with SNME, and featured multiple championship matches such as Stephanie Vaquer vs Jordynne Grace, Oba Femi vs Myles Bourne and history being made with the TNA World Championship being defended for the first time on a WWE PLE with Joe Hendry defending the championship against Trick Williams.

- Megan Morant and Sam Roberts hosted the show from WWE HQ.
- NXT Women’s North American/WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sol Ruca and Zaria had a sit-down interview with Kelly Kincaid.
- NQCC’s Myles Borne had a sit-down interview with Vic Joseph.
- Kelani Jordan had a sit-down interview with Blake Howard.

- NXT Women’s North American Championship: Sol Ruca (c) defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall after a Sol Snatcher to retain.
- NXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank and Josh Briggs defeated The Culling by pinfall after a powerslam/body avalanche combo.
- Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo by pinfall after a busaiku knee strike.
- NXT Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) defeated Jordynne Grace by pinfall after a corkscrew moonsault to retain.
- NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) defeated NQCC’s Myles Borne by pinfall after a Fall from Grace to retain.
- TNA World Championship: Trick Williams defeated Joe Hendry (c) by pinfall after a Trickshot to become the new champion.

- Zaria accompanied Ruca for the opening match and got banned from ringside after saving her tag partner from a split-legged moonsault.
- GM Ava was talking with AAA’s Dalys and Chick Tormenta.
- TNA’s Mike Santana made his WWE debut and talked about the TNA World Title match. Charlie Dempsey interrupted him and had a staredown.
- The Culling attacked their opponents after their loss, but NOAH’s Yoshiki Inaumura made his return and saved the faces.
- Ethan Page had an interview about his NXT North American Championship match this Tuesday. Ava announced that the match will kick off NXT TV and the winner will defend at Worlds Collide.
- Luca Crusifino was ringside at the end of Stacks vs Tony and distracted Tony to help Stacks win. After the match, he tried to apologise to Tony but didn’t want any of it.
- NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints had an in-ring interview about his title defense this Tuesday and Worlds Collide after that. Ethan Page attempted to attack Saints, but got fended off instantly.
- NXT Women’s Champion Stephianie Vaquer argued with the AAA women
- New announcements for NXT are LFG Season 1 winner Jasper Troy’s in-ring debut, Tatum Paxley vs Jaida Parker, TNA’s Mike Santana vs Tavion Heights.
- AJ Styles narrated the trailer for Hendry vs Williams.
- This is the first time the TNA World Championship got defended on WWE TV.
