WWE SmackDown is one of WWE’s premier weekly shows featuring some of the best WWE Superstars, plus some of the biggest storylines going into the PLE’s and has been running since 1999. The Championships featured the Undisputed WWE Championship, WWE (Men’s) United States, WWE Tag Team, WWE Women’s and the WWE Women’s United States Championships, plus the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from time to time. Although this show originally airs on traditional television (and still does in some markets), live airings moved to Netflix for the majority of the world, hence why we started to cover Raw (SmackDown and NXT on special occasions) from January onwards. Our results are quick and to the point and by no means a comprehensive blow-by-blow account of the given episode. This episode emanated from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia instead of an arena in the USA. Because of that, this episode aired a bit sooner on Netflix than USA Network. This episode will have three SmackDown-branded Championship matches as both the Women’s US and Women’s Championships will be on the line as well as the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Below are the latest WWE SmackDown results for 06/27/25:
- JC Mateo defeated Jimmy Uso by pinfall after a Tour of the Islands.
- WWE Women’s United States Championship: Giulia defeated Zelina Vega (c) by pinfall after a Northern Lights Bomb to become the new champion.
- Andrade and Rey Fenix defeated DIY by pinfall after a Muscle Driver/Message Chain.
- WWE Tag Team Championship: Street Profits (c) defeated Wyatt Sicks by disqualification due to Los Garza attacking them to retain. A fight between the Sicks and rest of the tag division brawled with Street Profits standing tall.
- WWE Women’s Championship Last Woman Standing: Tiffany Stratton defeated Nia Jax to retain.
Non-match notes relevant to WWE SmackDown for 06/27/25:
- Fraxiom vs AAA World Tag Teeam Champions Los Garza and B-Fab vs Roxanne Perez were taped for Main Event before the show went live.
- Michael Cole replaced Joe Tessitore. Jude Aldajani and Faisal Bin Mughaisib were introduced as the Arabic announce team.
- The promo between Cody and Orton got cut short by technical difficulties with the feed coming back after 25-30 minutes! The segment went further while the feed was out and had a dark segment with Cody and Carmelo Hayes before they temporarily stopped the show to fix the feed.
- Solo Sikoa gave JC Mateo a pre-match pep talk backstage
- Sikoa attempted to reconcile with Uso, but after being slapped, he and Mateo attacked Uso until WWE United States Champion Jacob Fatu intervened, delivering a pop-up Samoan Drop to Mateo and a jumping moonsault, followed by Uso saving Fatu from Sikoa’s attack with a superkick.
- DIY tried to rally the tag team division, but Nick went against it and made a match between DIY and Andrade with a partner of his choosing.
- Alexa Bliss proposed an alliance of shared benefit with Charlotte Flair.
- Wade Barrett interviewed Jade Cargill and Asuka about their Queen of the Ring finals, where Cargill expressed confidence in defeating Asuka, but Naomi interrupted, asserting her power as Ms. Money in the Bank, leading to a confrontation that ended with Asuka kicking Cargill after she pushed past her to confront Naomi.
- Aleister Black and R-Truth interrupted both Raw and SD GM’s as Truth still wanted revenge on Cena. Truth then stormed into the arena to call Cena out, but met a Black Mass from Aleister instead
- Damian Priest told Black to go face-to-face with confrontations next time. Hayes tried to warn Priest to back off from Truth.
- Jimmy confronted Jacob and argued before finding common ground.
- Naomi attempted to cash in during the Last Woman Standing match, but instantly got cut off by Tiffany.
- John Cena confronted CM Punk in a heated face-off before their match tomorrow, where Cena declared himself a winner while labeling Punk a loser. Punk retaliated with a rap-style promo, mocking Cena’s appearance and career, ultimately calling him a “washed-up bum” before dramatically ending the segment with a mic drop.
- The show ended without a traditional closing graphic, but rather with the hardcam zooming out to wait for the Netflix feed to finish.
