WWE’s developmental territory that has essentially become a fully developed brand airs each week on Netflix internationally. The brand showcases a wealth of talent, some homegrown while others are the best internationally, from the independent scene or from existing partnerships with NOAH and TNA and will feature the NXT Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, NXT (Men’s) North American Championship, NXT Women’s North American Championship and the WWE Speed Championships on its programming. As a WWE Netflix themed website, it only makes sense we provide quick results for this show much like we do for the special events that air each month. This week, NXT returned to where it all began, Full Sail University, for the first time since the covid pandemic in 2020. Multiple NXT alumni have been announced and others might appear as a surprise during the special episode, so who will appear and who will get the win? Find out below!

Below are the latest WWE NXT Homecoming results for 09/16/25:
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: SmackDown’s Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair (c) defeated The Culling’s Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley by pinfall after a Sister Abigail to retain.
- SmackDown’s Carmelo Hayes and TNA World Champion Trick Williams defeated SmackDown’s DIY by pinfall after a Nothing but Net.
- NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) defeated Tyler Breeze by pinfall after a hangman Twisted Grin to retain.
- Raw’s Lyra Valkyria, Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fatal Influence by pinfall after a Riptide
Other notes relevant to WWE NXT Homecoming for 09/16/25:
- Triple H kicks off NXT at Full Sail, expressing his pride in NXT’s special nature and the fans’ impact. Shawn Michaels joins him, praising the current roster’s potential while teasing brand warfare. Their exchange is interrupted by William Regal, who, after a crowd suggestion, dramatically announces “War Games.” The segment concludes with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexis Bliss highlighting the significant contributions and foundational role of women in NXT’s history.
- Tatum Paxley reunited with Lyra Valkyria in the hallway before her WWE Women’s Tag Title match.
- A backstage argument between Sol Ruca and Zaria got interrupted by Lainey Reed and Candice LeRae, who engaged in a dispute over the Speed tournament. Shayna Baszler made a brief appearance, her intimidating presence causing Reed and LeRae to depart, after which she advises Ruca and Zaria to resolve their personal differences.
- The Miz gave Gargano a Skull Crushing Finale at the end of DIY vs Melo/Trick to help them win.
- WWE United States Champion Sami Zayn endorsed Je’Von Evans, with Josh Briggs just blowing up in Sami’s face right after he said it. Evans and Briggs brawl, with Zayn bringing Evans back in to give him some motivational words.
- AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. was in the crowd during the NA Title match. He stared Page down from his crowd position after the match.
- Damian Priest told Tavion Heights he will challenge Ethan Page next at No Mercy.
- During a segment at Full Sail, Grayson Waller introduced NXT Champion Oba Femi and Ricky Saints. Femi cut a promo on Saints, accusing him of being focused on the main roster and not capable of holding the North American title. Saints fired back, calling Femi a “pampered athlete” and vowing to win the NXT title at No Mercy. The situation escalated with the arrival of TNA World Champion Trick Williams, leading Waller to propose a title-for-title match between Williams and Femi next week, with the winner defending both titles against St. Pierre at No Mercy. Femi concluded the segment by accepting the challenge and expressing confidence in retaining both championships.
- Wren Sinclair summoned Bobby Roode and Joe Hendry backstage. Roode endorsed Hendry going for the NXT Championship like he did.
- Lola Vice prevented Jacy Jayne from leaving the arena during the end of the match.
- During Oba and Trick’s backstage face-off, Regal mentioned to Ava that her phone is blowing up with disgruntled TNA wrestlers protesting the title vs title match, implying an invasion coming to NXT.
