While a lot of people here don’t notice what the status is of WWE Main Event, the show is having another change as of this writing now that the show has left Peacock in the United States.
WWE’s YouTube page has the live stream (which is a glorified premiere in this case) of the next Main Event episode listed for Thursday night, January 8th at 8 PM EST/1 AM GMT. The stream is made available worldwide (outside of Russia due to sanctions), which indicates that WWE Main Event is moving back to Thursdays.
Main Event used to air on Thursdays when it was a Hulu first-run exclusive between 2015 and 2024. After WWE left Hulu, the show ended its usual 2.5 week delay and moved to Saturday morning uploads on Peacock in the US and WWE Network internationally. The Saturday morning upload remained when the show moved to YouTube internationally when the US still had the show on Peacock until 2025 ended, with the show leaving alongside most of the WWE archive.
With Main Event now free from Peacock commitments starting this year, WWE seemingly decided to move the airing back to Thursdays globally and keep the show airing first-run on YouTube for the time being. As of this writing, there’s no indication of Main Event being shopped around to other broadcasters (whether US only or globally) nor indication of canceling the show outright. On another note, the 1/2/26 episode of Main Event still isn’t available in the United States, but if you have a VPN (or live outside of the US), here’s the link for anyone who’s curious. We will update the upcoming events page with a stream link whenever it’s available and whenever we can.
