WWE Evolve is Tubi’s first-run weekly developmental in-ring program which formerly was a WWE-affiliated independent promotion. This brand highlights the young, up-and-coming stars from developmental (whether from WWE PC or WWE ID) and current NXT talent who may need more seasoning. Occasionally, bigger named NXT talent will pop in for a match or two as well and features the WWE Evolve men’s and Women’s Championships.
Evolve had its first year almost done and they celebrate that with a season finale! As the biggest match, the wrestlers in the WWE ID initiative will face off against some of the WWE PC standouts in a 10-man tag match. Wendy Choo will face off with Kali Armstrong as well plus future developments as Succession II (aka the Season Premiere) will start next week. Below are the latest WWE Evolve Season Finale results for 02/25/25:
- Tyra Mae Steele defeated Zena Sterling by pinfall after a bridging German suplex.
- Kali Armstrong defeated Wendy Choo by pinfall after a Kali Connection.
- Team WWE ID (Aaron Rourke, Mike Cunningham, NXT’s Swipe Right and NXT’s Sean Legacy) defeated Team PC (Braxton Cole, Cyrus, Harley Riggins, Kam Hendrix and NXT’s Keanu Carver) by pinfall after a Molly Go-Round.
Non-match notes relevant to WWE Evolve Season Finale for 02/25/25:
- Cyrus (WWE TV in general) and Zena Sterling made their Evolve debuts on this episode.
- Tyra told her thoughts on Kendal Grey vs PJ Vasa happening next week. RIGHT thereafter, Kali Armstrong made her entrance.
- Wendy Choo debuted a new entrance theme song.
- Tate Wilder was the special guest referee for the 10-man tag team match.
- ID’s Laynie Luck sat at the VIP Section during the main event, later joined by Drake Morreaux.
- Swipe Right left the ID team after Evolve Champion Jackson Drake got ejected from ringside, making it a 5-on-3.
- Sean Legacy held a Evolve farewell speech as he’s definitively leaving for NXT.
